Toyota India has pulled the Land Cruiser and Prado models from its India lineup. The move comes ahead of the BS6 deadline. Both full-size premium SUVs came with large capacity diesel engines. Since the carmaker has no plans to update the two ageing model lines to meet BS6 norms, Toyota is likely to focus on Lexus. The Lexus LX is a Land Cruiser V8 sibling but is more expensive at Rs 2.33 crore. The Prado’s closest Lexus is the GX, but it is not sold in India.

is a long lasting vehicle. Is like a tanker, excellent economy but suspension is hard...you can feel road imperfections...
its very costly car in india, common man can't purchase this car .so this car fails for a common man first
it"s an old project of a car but I love it, with me for about 10 years... turbo diesel
Well, I'd say Need more improvement in interior.
it needs a lot of maintenance for years to come.
Toyota's fantastic on-off roader is here and ZigWheels' Adil Jal Darukhanawala gets first crack at the wheel of what is truly a terrain tamer par excellence. Unfussy, simple and understated it is the strong silent type which invariably and inevitably bests the rest. Shame therefore that it would be used more on than off-road where it truly belongs.
