Kia Carnival Latest Updates
Kia has discontinued the Carnival's base-spec Premium 8-seater and the mid-spec Prestige 9-seater variants. The luxury MPV is now available in four broad trims: Premium 7-seater, Prestige 6-Seater, Limousine and Limousine Plus. Besides, the carmaker has said it will reduce the production of the base-spec Premium 7-seater and mid-spec Prestige 6-seater variants. While the exact reason is not yet announced, we believe it's due to the poor demand.

What is good and bad in Carnival?
-
Carnival Positives
Big and imposing, spacious and comfortable, feature-loaded and well built - the Carnival has a lot going for it. However, there are some things that it really aces. Comfort levels, both in terms of ride quality and space, is really good across all three rows of seats (in the 7 VIP, 7 and 8 seat variants).
-
Carnival Negatives
It may be a bit too big for some parking lots. Also, if you opt for the 9 seat option, you'll have to make a compromise between luggage space or passenger comfort.
-
Expert's Conclusion
If you love to travel with your extended family on long road trips, then the Carnival will ensure that you can seat everyone in absolute comfort. There's more than enough cool features to ensure that the journey is as fun as the destination too.

For the price that kia offered this vehicle, Totally worth the deal.Classy design, Massive look and feel, And tons of seating space and storage. What more can a family ask for?.

Suspension tuning
Kia carnival drives with confidence and you get a good sense of control at the steering wheel – essential in a vehicle this large. That said, The Kia carnival is expectedly not a vehicle that likes quick changes in direction. Turn quick and you’ll be reminded that there’s a lot of MPV behind you. Ride quality is also pretty good, And the suspension tuning is really well suited to Indian road conditions.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Carnival
- Kia Carnival is available in 3 colours: Steel Silver, Glacier White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl. Moreover, every colour has its own uniqueness and choosing a colour totally depends on individual choice. So, we would request you to discuss it with your family so that you can finalize the colour to be purchased.
- The engine feels refined and remains rather quiet, even while going hard on the throttle. It's easy to drive in the city and the power delivery is smooth and jerk-free. There is an initial firmness to the setup, which can be expected for a car weighing possibly over two tonnes but it never gets uncomfortable. There is independent suspension on all four corners (McPherson strut in front and multi-link at the back) to cushion you well over the usual speed breakers and broken patched in tarmac. Even on highways, the ride doesn’t feel bouncy and it can keep the occupants comfortable over long journeys. The size only becomes a bother when you try and get into tight parking spots. However, the Carnival gets a handy turning radius and can make turns sharply. The steering though feels a bit heavy while making low-speed u-turns. The reverse camera and the front parking sensors help you avoid scratching the expensive paint finish of the car. Let's get one thing straight -- this is a big car and needs to be driven like one. The front is pretty flat and stable while going through corners. The steering is on the heavier side, which keeps the confidence up. But, as expected, there is a body roll. However, it's surprising how controlled it is. Change a lane like a good citizen and it is hardly felt in the cabin. Even on twisty roads, the cabin remains pretty stable and the body roll isn’t as bad as its tall body would suggest. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read more -2020 Kia Carnival Limousine: First Drive Review.
