Q. I am interested to buy this scooter,Please provide your suggestion? I am from Tamil Nadu, Ariyalur district. - Praise?

Just have a look on my calculation given below, and then consider is it worth or not 365days in a year-53 Sunday-12 national holidays- 2 and 4th saturdays remaining 276 working days on total (1). 60/kmper day i used to travel , total working days in a year 275 days, total kilometers per year 275 x 60 = 16,500 Km (2). For petrol vehicle 60 km running Rs.100/- to be spent per day on any scooter, E bikes 1 charge = 60 km , 1 charge = 2 units of electricity consumed , 2 unit = Rs.20/- day ( may differ state wise) (3). 16500 km per year running 8 services to be done for every 2000 km (Petrol Rs.1000 on avrg , E byke @750 avg) (4). LED acid battery life cylce around - 400 to 500 charges. (5). After 400 charges battery to be replaced on Praise cost appox Rs.20,000/- at present. if u take any Petrol Bike.Rs.75000-90000 Praise Rs.82000 on road . 60 km / per day, at 275 days 16500 Km per year Expense on fuel Rs.27,500.00 on petrol Rs.5500.00 on e bike, Minimum 8 service per year for every 2000km run cost Rs.8,000.00 on petrol bike Rs.6000.00 on e bike, spares per year 2,500.00 & 2500.00 i have taken for calculation .Total cost per year Rs.38,000.00 on petrol bike Rs.14,000.00 for e bike. Total savings per year on e bykes 24,000.00 in addition no air & sound pollution.i taken 60 km per charge but where as you can travel even more (140km/ per charge) on ebike with same above calculation. Even though you have to change your battery after 2nd or third year by that time you would have saved Rs.50,000 to 60,000.
