When I first got my hands on the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53, I knew that I made a solid choice for a performance SUV. My friends and I decided to take it for a weekend trip from Delhi to Rajasthan. The 429 horsepower engine, coupled with a nine speed automatic transmission made overtaking on highways easier task. Moreover, the suspension felt a bit stiff over the less maintained rural roads of Rajasthan. Compared to my friend’s BMW X5, the GLE 53 lacks a bit in the comfort department over rough roads.
