2024 Harley Davidson Breakout

Price: The 2024 Harley-Davidson Breakout is now priced from Rs 30,99,000 (ex-showroom, India), and is available in five colours: Billiard Gray, Vivid Black, White Onyx Pearl, Blue Burst, and Alpine Green.

Features: The 2024 Breakout 117 has an oval-shaped headlight with vertically stacked lighting components. There’s generous sprinkling of chrome all over the bike, complemented by blacked-out body components. It has a 2.14-inch LCD instrument cluster with a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, clock and a tripmeter. Since it’s a factory chopper, it lacks fancy features such as smartphone connectivity and navigation. In terms of safety, the Breakout only gets ABS and traction control, neither of which is lean-sensitive.

Engine: The 2024 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 gets the new Milwaukee 117 V-twin air-oil-cooled engine with a displacement of 1,923cc. This engine makes 102PS at 5020rpm, and 168Nm at 3500rpm, which is sent to the rear wheel via a belt drive. The Breakout 117 has a claimed mileage of 17.86kmpl.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The new Breakout 117 gets a 49mm telescopic fork with dual rate springs, and a preload-adjustable monoshock that is neatly hidden behind the bodywork. It has cast aluminium wheels with a spoked design; the front is 21 inches, with a 130-section tyre, while the rear is 18 inches and has a 240-section tyre, both Michelin Scorcher rubbers. The front has a single disc brake with a 4-piston caliper, and rear has a 2-piston caliper. The Breakout 117 has an 18.9-litre fuel tank, a 665mm tall seat and a kerb weight of 296kg.

Rivals: Being a factory chopper, there are no natural rivals to the Breakout 117. However, if you’re looking for something that’s as attention grabbing, then the Triumph Rocket 3 and the Ducati Diavel V4 are some good options. Both of them are more affordable, more powerful and more feature-packed.
