This is what happens when you put a Tesla P85D in 'Insane Mode'

If you’re an adrenaline junkie, and if anything on wheels fascinates you, then we have a piece of news for you. Tesla claims that its P85D hypercar is the fastest four-door sedan which when driven in ‘Insane mode’ can make even the bold-hearted swoon.

The muscle car was driven in ‘Insane mode’ seating adults and kids. How did they react to Tesla’s ‘Insane’ mode? We know the answer. Both the adults and the kids experienced a wide range of reactions. 

Some screamed and laughed; others went completely silent and closed their eyes as they experienced the acceleration produced by the car's ‘Insane mode'.

Tesla did a tour with some of its new P85D models in Portland, Oregon, and partnered with an organisation that helps local children who are fighting life-threatening diseases by giving them a dream drive in a supercar - and a memory that will last a lifetime.

Tesla P85D uses dual motor, four-wheel drive technology to churn out 691PS of power and a staggering 1,171Nm of torque in ‘Insane mode'. One out of the two electric motors is fitted at the front while the other one is fixed at the rear end of this car. The car sprints from 0-100kmph in 3.1 seconds.
