Being a 2 valve engine, vibration
Being a 2 valve engine, Vibration is frequent, Low rpm is not up to mark often have to shift to 1 gear, Mileage is too good as my 90% daily commute is on highway, Braking is good. Not happy with the rear mudguard and tire hugger, Quiet small, On wet roads it spills all the mud and sand on rear shocker all look dirty.

I bought the pulsar n160 bike a few months ago and i am very happy with it.It is a stylish and powerful street bike that offers great performance, Features and safety. The bike looks almost like the pulsar n250, Which gives it a high aspirational value. The led headlight, Dual tone colours and aerodynamic design make it stand out on the road. The bike has a refined 164.82cc oil-cooled engine that delivers 15.7 bhp of power and 14.65 nm of torque. The engine is smooth and responsive, And has a good mid-range punch. The bike can easily cruise at 80-90 kmph on highways and also handle city traffic with ease. The mileage is decent, Around 45 kmpl in mixed riding conditions. The bike has a comfortable riding posture and a well-padded seat. The suspension is good, With 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike handles well and is stable at high speeds. The braking is excellent, With dual disc brakes and dual channel abs.The abs works well and prevents wheel lockup on slippery surfaces. The bike has some nice features like a semi-digital instrument cluster, Usb charging port, Twin spark ignition and oil cooler. The instrument cluster shows speed, Rpm, Fuel level, Odometer, Trip meter and service reminder. The usb port is useful for charging phones or other devices on the go.The bike has some drawbacks too, Like the small fuel tank capacity of 14 litres, Which limits the range. The rear tyre is also narrow for a 160cc bike, Which affects the grip and stability. The quality of some plastic parts could be better, And the service network could be improved.Overall, I think the pulsar n160 is a great bike for those who want a sporty and stylish street bike with good performance, Features and safety. It is priced reasonably at rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom) for the single channel abs variant and rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the dual channel abs variant. It competes with other bikes like the tvs apache rtr 160 4v, Suzuki gixxer and hero xtreme 160r.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 Pros and Cons
Pulsar N160 Positives Points: Engine is very refined and tractable; sporty and confidence-inspiring handling; only bike with dual-channel ABS in the 160cc segment
Pulsar N160 Negatives Points: Rear monoshock is firm, resulting in a bouncy ride; not-very extensive features list; looks like a clone of the Pulsar N250
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is very likeable as a whole. Its combination of a smooth, tractable and easy going motor with the brilliant handling characteristics fit is perfect for the segment. And the addition of dual-channel ABS is a big advantage.
