Q. Wanted to know the difference b/w Activa 125 and Vespa Urban Club?
- Vespa Urban Club 125 is powered by a 125cc air-cooled motor that delivers 9.65PS and 9.9Nm of torque mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. Braking is via a 150mm front drum brake and 140mm rear drum brake. On the other hand, Activa 125 is powered by an all-new 124cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that makes 8.29PS and 10.3Nm. The front disc brake is found only in the deluxe variant as the other two make use of a front drum brake. A 190mm rear drum unit remains constant across the board. Moreover, the biggest difference between the two scooters is of the pricing. The more premium Urban Club retails at Rs. 93,144 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Honda Activa 125 is priced in the range of Rs. 69,470 - 76,471 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you are looking for a family-oriented 125cc scooter, the Activa 125 would be a better pick. In terms of practicality, comfort and reliability, few come as close as the Activa 125.
