Q. I am interested to purchase the car but I am not satisfied of purchase the car I am confused between Skoda Laura and Ciaz.

  • Hi Ashok . I have a Skoda Laura and my experience of using the car as a long distance drive as well as regular city drive has been amazing . I think ciaz and Laura are completely different in segment and costing. Built quality and driving quality of Laura is way better then ciaz also the power that you feel . Also maruti Suzuki is still developing their cars to be better so they are still under the learning process so ciaz is still not yet refined In terms of everything. My opinion is if you have budget for ciaz , go for a second hand Laura

  • No maintenance on dpend your drive
  • 50 Paise per KM
  • Approx 7 to 10 k per year. Also would depend on parts and accessories / consumables you might need. It's very comfortable car. And could be a status symbol

Good Car

Good driving response better mileage and good stability on highways. Build quality is way better than Japanese and the looks are awesome till now. Road presence is really good. It gives me 13-14kmpl in the city and 18kmpl on the highway.

Nonsense car

I personally own a skoda laura 1.9 pd tdi model.The car is a no nonsense car with excellent dynamics and more than adequate performance though its a diesel powered car.The only downside is its service cost and poor dealership network with less transparency during its service period.It almost gives me an old school feel and i personally feel as if i'm owning a premium car of its segment above.

Latest octavia

My Skoda laura has done over 2.25 lakh kilometers in the 10+ years that I've owned it and I'm actually very happy with it but because diesel has started getting phased out & some repairs have started being required, also I want to go for the latest Octavia or Superb. I'm planning to sell my car as soon as the lock-down over.

Decent vehicle

Very high mentance my car was flooded one time and boom from that time it wouldnt start properly the skoda people trued their level best but unfortunately the car wouldnt get repaired and my modle was top end laurinklement so the looks and comfort was good power was ok overall decent vehicle
