    Don't know about kwid...but for city traffic alto k10 as a beginner s car is good enough. Can also go for little more spacious car like celerio, swift. 3 passengers in rear seat actually feels uncomfortable. It's better to change car after 4 to 5 years. Since roads in Kolkata are worse than average, comfort becomes an issue...Rear seat passengers will be at mercy.Mileage is very good....15kmph (201 model)

    I had the same thought when I bought my K10. In my opinion K10 was better. So bought the K10. Far better built quality, better stability at higher speeds, oil chamber was aluminium instead of plastic, service network more easily available etc. There are many more points but it would make the answer too long but I guess you get the idea.

    Kwid may have more technical features...but alto k10 was way better in terms of power and performance
