Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is available in two variants: GLC 200 Progressive (petrol) and GLC 220d 4MATIC Progressive (diesel). The GLC 200 uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine that makes 197PS and 320Nm of torque. The GLC 200d 4MATIC uses a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out 194PS and 400Nm of torque. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it feasible purchase. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

I bought glc 200 , because i don't drive much, hardly 5k kms a year, and I don't do much off roading, so buying diesel didn't make any sense as its 5 to 6 lakhs more than petrol version,
