The petrol variant of the Swift gets the upper hand while the diesel variant of the i20 stands superior. The Swift has automatic variants on both petrol and diesel variants while the i20 only gets a CVT on the petrol variant. ... The Swift wins this round. This depends on your budget....i20 active is quite expensive while Swift starts at a decent range..i20 has tones of features but charges a skull cracking maintenance if you have a daily use for a vehicle. Swift on the other hand is decent in everything:Looks, features, Pick up, top speed and a 3 star safety. If you wanna buy a new car, I'd say, you should wait till next year....tata, hyundai and Mahindra a launching some amazing vehicles.... seriously

I20active vtvt asta for 6 airbags all features if you need a petrol diesel 1.4 crde asta same features..you can see the spec another variants too...un less you need 20 plus mileage go for swift.

I20 is a comfort drive with excellent suspensions. But it's not that fun to drive. If you like a car that's comfortable to drive choose i20, If you like a car that's fun to drive, gives good mileage with worry free maintenance then Swift is the car for you.
