@ Shubhankar | I would suggest you to get a test drive of TATA NEXON
Thanks for your prompt reply Shubhankar. I will definitely. But still, as an overall package considering the new dual tone interiors, good infotainment system and a better service structure of FORD you feel NEXON is at par or better?

I would consider the venue 1.0 L Turbo. The S model will be a tad under 10L on road. Another alternative would be the Nexon.
Definitely City. Since your highway usage is negligible and city usage is more, why don't you consider a premium hatch like Jazz , Baleno or Glanz.

Since more of city driving, go for automatic variant, Honda City with cvt is best among other considering cvt and not amt technology. And is within your budget. You won't regret for atleast another 5 years.

I be exactly the same usage profile. I am driving city v manual for 2 years and completely satisfied. In Delhi I get the average of around 12 to 13 kmpl with AC. And on highways it is as high as 20
Compared to other Automatic cars. Honda City automatic is not just fun to to ride but performance oriented too. Mileage will be around 12-15 kmpl in city depending on traffic conditions and 15-20 on highways with air conditioning ON.

I get 14 ... This is consistently for 3 years over 50k kms.. always in Eco mode. I am a careful driver with very light right leg. For normal usage maybe 12. It could get into single digits very quickly if you have a heavy right foot behavior

It is the only car which claims to have better mileage than its manual counterpart...though i don't have hands on experience.
Yes. Honda civic is best Choice for petrol automatic.. And it's also look premium and Fantasty look... But if you want New Honda Accord is also good but price is too high. But it's also better of honda cars...

If you want to upgrade to D segment, you check Skoda Superb or Honda Civic. If you want to stay in the C segment, you can stick to Honda City or try Skoda Octavia

Defenitely, Civic in all other aspects except fuel consumption because City consumes lesser than Civic
Hi I'm a Honda city petrol user . Honda is famous and best in producing one of the best petrol engines in the world. if ur looking for diesal then best option for u is Toyota coz they have best diesal engines.my advice is Don't go for hondaz diesal engines coz I have test driven it ,Honda petrol engine is very smooth powerful.I'm using 2001 model Honda city petrol which is still running smooth nd gives great milage low cost maintaince also it's so smooth nd comfortable to drive. it's been 18 yers nd if Honda gave me an engine which is so good 18 yers back I wonder how advance nd perfect would the new Honda city would be.also I'm a great fan of Honda only for it's incredible petrol engines.also I test drove both Honda city petrol and desialI didn't like the diesal engine of Honda.but the new petrol engine has no words it's out of the world man.I'm also a fan of Toyotas diesal enginesgo for Toyota if ur looking for diesalcoz Toyota has the best diesal engine with low cost maintaince and one of my friend who owns an airport taxi old etios sedan 460000/-km run still in very good condition nd engine is smooth as new.

I Wl suggests better go for Petrol Version.Readons : Less than 1000Kms Running per Month. Prices of Diesel are not very Less , compared to Petrol. Initially you wl End up Paying 1 Lakh Rupees More. Maintenance Bills are Higher than Petrol. Particularly Cabin Noise is More in Diesel Version .in Honda City compared to other Equivalent Brands. Average wl be just 3/4 Kms More with AC . My average Running is also same as yours. Why to pay 1 lakh more and to Listen Noise . My Thinking is when one can Afford to Pay 10Lakhs PLUS + , FORGET KITNA DETI HAI ??? HONDA CITY IS A STATUS SYMBOL CAR. GO FOR PETROL. Or Go for MARUTI CIAZ TO SAVE MONEY. This is my Opinion. Rest you Decide.

Honda has been known for its Petrol version cars. but nevertheless Honda Diesel is also not a bad engine. if your travel is 200-300 kms in a week then Diesel is the best option for you as it will prove cost effective. Honda Automatic has been built to give better mileage than the Manual counterparts. I own a Honda City Automatic. In city it gives me around 10-12kms with AC ON all the time. on highways it gives me around 14-16kms despite of me paddling it hard and with speeds of 90-120 kms on highways. Keep your car serviced on time and it will give its best outcome.
