  • Q. Which Innova Crysta, I should buy, Petrol or diesel ?
    Zigwheels | 11 months ago

Every one of us knows that traffic is becoming an ever increasing pain. It does not matter how quick your manual gearbox responds or how reliable it is when you get stuck in a huge traffic jam and suffer excruciating pain in your left leg constantly depressing the clutch. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automated Manual Transmission(AMT) which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways. Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, & will be driving most of the time in stop-and-go traffic then go with the AT. Do take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.

If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automated Manual Transmission(AMT) which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways.Click on the given link to get an idea about service cost: https://www.zigwheels.com/newcars/Toyota/Innova-Crysta/service-cost These are approximate figures excluding labour charges, GST & the price may vary as per the location and condition of the car. Not always do carmakers offer all the automatic options with the base model. By sacrificing on a bit of bling, the GX can be a value for money option. While, if you look at outright value for the goodies, then the Touring Sport might not make much sense. But given the number of Innova cars out on roads, the cosmetic enhancements make the Touring Sport stand out. Buy it if you can spend so much to stand apart from crowd.

  • Q. Hi I want to buy innova crysta ....which one is better petrol or diesel and which variant....??
    Zigwheels | 8 months ago

It’s just that the GX variant misses out on an audio system, and instead gets 4 speakers which will complement an aftermarket audio unit if you choose to get it. For those who are on a tight budget and give more preference to the powertrain of their choice, it makes a lot of sense. Not always do carmakers offer all the automatic options with the base model. By sacrificing on a bit of bling, the GX can be a value for money option. While, the ZX variant offers all the features of the VX variant and more. ZX variant puts safety high on the priority list, and is, thus, highly recommended as well. That said, those opting for the 2.4 diesel MT variant are better off purchasing the VX model as the features on ZX don’t seem worth the extra dough. • Q. Should I buy the diesel or petrol, I have a running of 12000km per annum.
    Zigwheels | 2 months ago

As per the statistics, the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. Since your average daily running is less than 50/60kms in a day we would suggest you to opt for the petrol engine as it has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. If the statistics are taken into account the petrol engine beats diesel option in your case.

Diesel is best option to buy because reason is you have running 12000 km per annuam . And diesel variants save the fuel money and maintenance cost less than petrol .

  • Q. Which is the best petrol variants for family?
    Moorthy | 3 months ago

There are few variants in Crysta , which are GX , VX, ZX , GX is base model, VX is little higher model, VX is high end model . The difference between these were , only on the accessories which were given by the company and other than that all are same . The transmission and engine all are same . You can go for either petrol or diesel , the prices varies and driving comfort is also same on the both models. I assume that , there may be slight difference in maintenance costs , I have no idea how it is gonna be . Since ours is new and haven’t done any service yet . Though u can have a test ride and check for yourself.
