There are mainly two suvs are best in your range with petrol automatic... First one is New Hyundai Venue and Second one is Mahindra Xuv300 both are best. But my choice is go for Hyundai Venue for Best Average and Low Maintenance cost.... And Venue Also offers You Best Features than any other car in this segment. In The End Venue is also very comfortable For petrol or diesel automatic driving. And sorry for Mahindra Xuv300. It's not automatic.. But it's give you 17 km/h in Manual. And Hyundai venue gives 18 km/h In pretrol Automatic....

  • Q. Which is better to buy between Automatic Verna petrol with sunroof and Honda City?
    Shatajyoti | 2 months ago

Go for Verna as it comes with a proper torque converter unlike City's CVT transmission. Pluses of Torque converter are awesome refinement levels, flexible gearing , smoothness while CVT's pluses are infinite gear ratio, on par efficiency with manual counterpart yes certainly better than torque converters efficiency. But CVT's have notorious rubber band effect and crude refinement levels which seriously robs one of driving pleasure the moment you tend to go heavy on right pedal.

  • Q. Is there any complaint is Diesel Automatic Verna, in auto shift gear system?
    Zigwheels | 3 months ago

Hyundai Verna is offered with Automatic Transmission which is different to the AGS(Auto Gear Shift) Transmission. AGS transmission is similar to the AMT transmission which is provided by Maruti Suzuki in some of their cars. There is no option to use AT transmission in the manual mode whereas the AGS or AMT can be driven in both the modes (Auto mode/Manual mode). As of now, there are no complaints regarding the Hyundai Verna Diesel AT. Moreover, The true comfort, drive quality and features of the car can only be perceived during the test drive of the car.Click here for the Dealership: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers/Hyundai

  • Q. Which one is better AT or Manual and what difference it will make to mileage?
    Kesiraju | 8 months ago

Verna 2018 top end models are offered in 1.6 ltr petrol and diesel variants in automatic transmission . The AT version is best suited for city drives . It is totally effortless drive . Claimed mileage in diesel is about 24kmpl but in actual conditions you will get in averaged out in very ong drives to be 17-21kmpl. In city conditions may vary averaged out 10-13kmpl. The both manual and auto variants are offered with 6 speed transmission with Gear box . The longer you drive in gear position 5&6 with speeds above 60+ with no breaking may give higher specific fuel efficiency . Similarly petrol AT may give you max 15kmpl and normal city drive vary between 9-12 kmpl.

Both are equally good. AT gives you convenience during heavy traffic. Manual gives marginally better mileage. So choose AT if city driving is causing you strain. Else, go for manual.

  • Q. Ventilated seats are convenient or automatic transmission? As in Anniversary edition in diesel we dont have automatic transmission option so i am planning to go for sx+ auto but i want to know that sacrifice tor ventilated seats are worth for automatic transmission? Or ventilated seats are useful?
    Kesiraju | 9 months ago

It is a tough question to answer when you have to ride over two best liked choices. If your passion is to drive, if you go on long dirves frequently, you must choose manual transmission. Auto transmission is good for city rides only . For long drives you will miss the feel. When it comes to power Verna has the highest horsepower in the segment with 1.6l engine so is the drive to excite.one should never get overwhelmed by a minor asthetic feature when you compare a basic feature like rideability, driveability power , torque etc. Anniversary edition is a good option given with +++ aesthetic extra features about 6 -7 like wireless charging, skid plate etc.. It is a easy click .and easy go for it. if you are very particular on auto transmission then go ahead with your decision .

I agree. The buyer has to make a choice based on personal preferences. An average car owner has to commute to work or market or meeting friends. Occasionally, he goes to other towns. For city driving, which you do most of the time, auto gears are very convenient. If you are buying a second car, then go for anniversary edition.

  • Q. Ventilated seats vs automatic transmission? Which is more useful as am taking diesel verna other features like wireless charging and all are not useful ,am doubtful about ventilated seats
    Kesiraju | 9 months ago

You can not compare an asthetic feature with a primary feature kind of thing. Ventilated seats are a additional premium feature . For this feature some may feel ok or not ok, one can not discount the technologically high end feature like Auto transmission feature with some other feature .f your purpose is city drive conditions, daily commute, and auto transmission is highly advantageous.I hope you are in a bit dilema while choosing anniversary addition Vs diesel auto transmission in SX model. If you frequently go on for long drives then manual transmission is ok. If your choice is for AUto transmission in city drive just go for it .

  • Q. I am thinking to buy verna automatic with sunroof, I am already driving celerio automatic.I want to know is verna a good car and if yes than which is better petrol automatic or diesel automatic?
    Zigwheels | 10 months ago

The new Verna has matured, and how! It’s evolved into a classy package that drives well, packs in all the tech you need (and more) and priced reasonably as well. If you’re going to be driving solo most of the time or don’t really care about the folks at the rear - the Verna is a near no-brainer. If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

  • Q. Which is best option in hyundai verna petrol or diesel and which is economical and better in performance?
    Zigwheels | 10 months ago

The Hyundai Verna is available with three engine options: 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. The 1.4-litre petrol engine produces 100PS/132Nm, while the 1.6-litre petrol engine makes 123PS/151Nm. Power figures for the 1.6-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, stand at 128PS/260Nm. Both the 1.6-litre engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the 1.4-litre engine is offered only with the 6-speed manual gearbox. If your requiremnts are only for the city comutes then 1.4 liter petrol version would be a better pick other wise if you need more power, then you can opt 1.6 liter petrol version. and if your daily usage is more than around 50km then you may opt for 1.6 diesel version. Here are the ARAI-certified figures for fuel efficiency: 17.70kmpl (petrol-MT), 15.92kmpl (petrol-AT), 24.75kmpl (diesel-MT) and 21.02kmpl (diesel-AT). Diesel if you believe in the phrase pedal to the metal & great fuel efficiency. Petrol is good too but the diesel is so much superior in every aspect that , it usually overshadows the petrol variant in sales as well overall driving experience.
