    Just drove in hills from Delhi to shimla kufri and Narkanda in February 2021 with my new CVT jazz 2020 model. It was amazing in land and even more fun in hills ...no issues on power lag or any driving discomfort faced by me... earlier I was worried regarding its performance in hills but nothing stop the Jazz ... entire trip with Honada jazz automatic was fabulous....

    I have taken it to himalayas and trust me you will cry on steeps. Always a gear shift required.Mine was full loaded 4 passenger and luggage. I could feel the pain to keep the car in power in 1st & 2nd gear to climb those steeps. Rest it is superb, little bit of body roll but thats not nerving.Comfort is superb and space is enough to have everything packed

    Jazz CVT is good on hill driving. But it's not the CVT , but the engine which is not that responsive on incline driving. The engine or the clutch is designed to provide more speed than torque, so I wouldn't suggest any Jazz for a regular hill driving.

    Jazz is having power lag especially when 4 people travel in the car.Feels second gear dead and accelarator will not respond some times.Verry low pulling while riding ghats etc.
