Grand i10 Nios AMT Sport has proven to be a good performer for driving and handling Indian roads. In the front seat, the Nios keeps you shielded from road imperfections quite commendably. Irrespective of speed and surface, the suspension manages to take out the shocks well. Over really deep and nasty potholes, you’ll notice some side to side rocking but that’s pretty much it. The rear suspension has a tendency to get every so slightly bouncy, especially when you hit undulations in quick succession. For those long trips with the family, be sure to take a quick break in a couple of hours. From a handling standpoint, we see Hyundai making a significant improvement. The enthusiasts among us will crib for better feedback from the steering. However, there’s no denying that it’s quick and precise. Also, unless you really (and we mean really) flog it around the bends, it doesn’t get unnerving either. Brakes are confidence-inspiring irrespective of the variant you’re driving. Even from triple-digit speeds, the Nios managed to come to a halt in a straight line with no hair raising moments. Moreover, we'd suggest taking the test drive so that you can understand the difference. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz AMT can be driven on the hills. If the slope is steep, the automatic will downshift into a gear lower for better torque. It isn't very difficult to drive with AMT on the hill. We haven't tested it yet in hilly areas yet. However, it is best suited for city driving. Moreover, we would recommend you take a test drive of it in order to clear all your doubts, by visiting the nearest dealer in your city.
