Q. Hello, I am thinking of buying sedan Petrol automatic. I think Vento gives DSG which is best in class but provides only dual airbags no rear disc brakes which make me feel it’s lacking safety features compared to others. Please suggest I should still go for Vento or I should move to Verna?

I can assure you from my personal experience that VW Vento is a really safe car despite of it not having rear disc brakes. There is only one word that best describes Vento,1-:it is a "Tank" build. Volkswagen has more research done over the premium budget sector for safety than Hyundai. After all, Germans lead technology wise. Hyundai is adding more interacting technologies to keep the customers say "Hey, its got that,.. its got this" and what not. Hyundai is a good car, but safety wise, its Vento first! Choice is yours.

Same opinion it has Crump zones and is very much safe .built quality is good protects side impacts too. side air bags work in high velocity side impacts when car turns too much.Ask verna sales why it is not there in creta automatic. sad part is that its part of cost cutting. secondly during downshift don't let dsg do all the job .applying brakes intermittently as in a manual will solve the problem. check Abs sensors, tyresand brake pads if you feel it doesn't stop ad expected.

Verna built quality is the one that shouldn't be judged by its look. Its body is simply less dense that makes it incomparable with the build of vento. Verna scores 3 in crash test whereas vento's got 4 stars.
