Maruti WagonR is powered by two BS6 petrol engines. The first is a 1.0-litre (998 cc) three-cylinder engine making 68PS and 90Nm. The other option is a 1.2-litre (1197 cc) four-cylinder mill delivering 83PS and 113Nm. Both engines are paired with a manual gearbox as well as an AMT. Moreover, the base-spec L and mid-spec V variants are available with the 1.0-litre petrol engine, while only the mid-spec V and top-spec Z variants are available with the BS6 1.2-litre.
