Maruthi Celerio AMT has got a serious problem. The TCM unit that controls the auto transmission will not function at some point in time. After driving 1 lakh KM, my car got to break down in the middle of the road, Maruthi took 2 months of time to diagnose and confirm the TCM unit needs replacement, the cost of the TCM unit is 70k. Maruthi says it's a common issue and be thankful as your vehicle survived for 1 Lakh KM. I have decided to fight against Maruthi for selling such manufacturing defected vehicles.

Yes, the TCM unit that takes care of the auto transmission has to be replaced at some point in time. I have driven 1 lakh KM and now I'm facing this issue. The Service center people took a very long time to diagnose the issue and concluded the TCM unit that costs 70k has to be replaced. I'm currently exploring legal possibilities to handle this issue.

Build quality is too poor, Bt the car is good for a family.I really like the space in this car, Performance is also good, Bt when ac is on ag that time i think had some effects.

This is excellent car I have brought in 2015 , everyone is saying change it but I won't as I have travelled it all parts of jammu and Kashmir through Leh. Excellent drive, hassle free, I want to replace it with new Celario when Maruti will launch with 1200cc.

A second class family car with basic features. In this segment its best to get.But when it comes to build quality celerio is outperforms.I like the way it drives.Owner since 2016 manual transmission.Petrol variant.Abs brake and airbags are available at the starting 555k bugs.Performance wise this is a 1.0 litre engine and the output is decent as a family drive or long tour.Getting approx 21 kmpl is quite efficient.Enjoy those smooth driving with easy driving technology by the amt system. No lagging and tiredness on long drive.Feels relaxed after miles. Thanks to the better seating posture and comfort interior platform. The biggest thing is that interior. It is well crafted to enjoy the views and drives. All power windows and stereo setup is beautiful.Cealing is good and the bonnet is wide. But the front view is easy to watch.
