Q. Which is better in terms of mileage Activa 5g or Activa 125?

You can make a decision based on your usage and budget. Honda Activa 125 is expensive than Activa 5g. I have bought Activa 5g and quite impressive with it. I recently met with an accident which should have done more damage but it only had a dent in the Scooty. It is full metal body which is a plus point for the learners, in case they meet an accident. Low weight is another plus point apart from older version of Activa. If your budget is more you can choose Activa 125 as it has more mileage, more clearance and powerful engine too. In terms of maintenance, I just got my first free servicing for activa 5g, it costed me 450 rupees for oil and other things. The washing and worker charges are basically free for 3 services and for 5 services(In case you pay some extra amount at time of purchase) Hope it helps!

Activa 5G is a 110cc engine and Activa 125 is a 125cc engine.Being a larger engine the Activa 125 marginally produces more power and torque which comes at the expense of more fuel consumption.So 5G is more fuel economical.Hope this helps! Happy riding!

Out of both 125 is better. But in terms of mileage 5G will give around 2-3 kmpl more than activa 125. In order of maintenance they both cost equally to maintain.125 has slightly more power and looks better than 5G , that's the reason i chose 125 over 5G.
