Q. Which bike is better FZ S FI V2. 0 or Gixxer?

Prashant | 7 years ago0 ReplyHi there, Suzuki Gixxer is the bike has good build quality, fit & finish except its switches could be better. where Yamaha FZ 2.0 is go head to head to gixxer here. At the performance point gixxer 155 cc motor churns 14 PS of power where FZ 2.0 149 CC has peak power of 13.1 PS . Then power delivery is smooth in both bikes but its the gixxer whos pick up is agressive when u spin the throttle similarly with the exhaust note also change in gixxer as compare to FZ's . Here in performance tyres plays important role in my opinion if you see neatly both the bikes share same set of tyrs of MRF but its the gixxers tyres are omega shape which are sticky in corners also in straight line the less patch in contact of the road helps to develop more speed..also one last but not the least point sproket set up of both bikes..Gixxer has 43 teeths in rear sproket while FZ having 41 teeths in rear (As per my knowledge) which also create little benifit to gixxer to gain her speed with ease.cheers..

Every bike has some deficiency and not of them are perfect in this segment but I'm giving you the basic idea about these 2 bikes. Fz s 2.0 has 132cc engine with power somewhat less then Gixxer but milage is about 42-47kmph with good performance while Gixxer has 159cc engine with nice power output and milage is about 47-53 kmph with good biking experience but must try test ride of both bikes before purchase to ensure which is better for you. Hope you will choose one with less tension. 😇
Jo | 6 years ago0 ReplyDamm difficult comparison..fz was the king before the gixer came. Gixxer is near to the ultimste naked bike thrill..new one is updated and futuristic with less weight but excellent handling..Fz need update in styling ..so right now I recommend new gixxer.
Sunil | 7 years ago1 ReplyMore or less. Both Japanese bikes are equal. In terms of mileage Suzuki is better than Yamaha. But in terms of quality Yamaha is master. Although Yamaha spare parts are costlier to his rival & easily available. But different story about Suzuki spare parts. That are not available everywhere, in fact their service centre also. So choose wisely. Best of luck.
Aarush | 7 years ago2 ReplySuzuki Gixxer has got more power and top speed.it comes with single channel abs but still FZS is a good bike..it's instrument cluster looks good and build quality is good..it is a fun riding bike on highways and in traffic.. Seat height of FZS is bit low than Gixxer which will reduce back pain for short riders... Both bikes claim more than 50km average.
Siddhesh | 7 years ago2 ReplyBoth are good but if you concern about after sales service n reliability than better to opt on Yamaha if comfort, economy, after sales service n reliability is concern better to switch to Yamaha if this isn't the concern than performance n features advantage than it's Suzuki if you ask personally I love to own Yamaha overall package.

So i suggest go for gixxerIf fz's battery down there u can't start it because of fi technology ... But gixxer has kick start.Go for gixxer not the sf because after accident more cost... And also low mileage than naked one...
Ravi | 7 years ago1 ReplyYamaha company using good quality of material in manufacturing and technology also very latest i.e., Fuel injector, it gives more mileage and it will wipe off the problems with corroborator like starting trouble in winter. bike also having good stability in braking. I am using Yamaha brand from last 20 years.

Aarush | 7 years ago2 ReplySuzuki Gixxer produces more power got single channel abs also..it claims more mileage than fzs but still I will recommend FZS as it is a fun riding bike.. material used is good and seat height is less which help you in long distance ridings..it will be much easier to commute in city ...
