Q. I have a Discover 125ST, i am planning to buy new sports commuter bike, i have chosen Apache RTR160 4v and Yamaha R15S for its comfortable seats. As both bikes have no option of ABS, so i have planning to buy in April when they get ABS. I have few questions for it. How expensive bikes will be after introduction of ABS? Do they get Single channel or dual channel ABS? Can i exchange the bike and finance the bike at the same time? How's bike responds on off road, wet, hill and slippery roads?

Brother, both the bikes are great and both have their pros and cons. However, I would suggest you to go ahead with a fuel injected bike (whichever model you choose). R15 comes standard with Fi and Liquid cooling. RTR comes with carburetor. The issue what my friend is still facing is that when we move on to higher altitudes, the carb starts losing performance, backfires kick in and the exhaust system completely fails. he has suffered not once or twice but 4 times due to this issue. RTR give you rather straight handle bar which is comfortable but clipons on the R15 are unmatched in corners. If I compare the chasis the Yamaha takes the lead again, but then again they are two different bikes hailing from two different categories. If you have previous experience in riding with straight handle bars then adjusting with clipons will take some time and you may experience some pain initially but once you are accustomed to the posture and stance then R15 can become your master tool.

Both are good one(r15s discontinued) but if you interested long ride go with liquid cooled engine

Amazing Answer. Thanks a lot. Your advice is so much beneficial for me.
