Don't hear any suggestions, just go to showroom and make a test drives. The comfort will speak to you. Everyone got different taste and feel. Both are good bikes only how you handle it. Go for test drive till you feel OK. You going to buy a bike for you so feel free. Anyway Showroom gonna earn your money. But as I own two Yamaha bike Im satisfied with mileage and performance. I'm getting 45-50 kmpl. But keep in mind what ever you buy maintenance and handling should be good.

Yamaha offers an muscular street fighter stands while you still get the same old design on the rtr180. Fzs and the 160 4v are an comparison to consider, anyways you get an 140 section radial tyre only on the fz while the others offer 120.. Rtr 180 has a good revving engine though, but considering road grip, efficiency and handling I still recommend FZS to be your choice.

Why not Apache 200 or Hornett? One more thing, if you need raw engine power Apache if you need refined engine, linear punch, then Yamaha.take test rice, ask for your friends bike and take it to the highway and realize it yourself.
