The 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine has been updated for translates a stronger mid-range and a higher revving motor. It now makes95PS at 12,000rpm and 64Nm at 8500rpm. You now get a slipper clutch. Electronics include multi-stage traction control.

- I love the on road stability and smoothness of cbr 650f over Ninja 650.
- Fastest is cbr600r ,but for comfortable yet a punchy ride then ninja 650 makes a stronger case
- Torque is always good in parallel twin ninja gives the best feel of ride
- Seriously :D, honda is honda, it is also low maintainence with quality hardware and ride
- Always go for Suzuki it has low maintenance
- I own one a do not recommend it for touring. Its for pure fun of short distance riding (max 2-3 hrs) on an weekend morning. Its better within city confines or closed tracks as there is no wind protection and headwinds can be very tiring to negotiate on the wrong side of 120 kph. But the four cylinder engine is a gem with a slick shifting gear box. There are very few bikes where you can find the neutral so easily. You can also feel power being delivered almost till 11000 rpm before red-lining at 11.5k. I would have loved a touring version of this bike due to the nature of the engine that can pull effortlessly from 70 kph with great acceleration in 6th gear. It is also rideable at 60kph in 5th gear inside city with enough reserve available for quick overtaking without a gear change. You can try installing handle bar raisers, a better seat, a big wind screen and couple of panniers for short touring on tarmac.
- It is any time better than honda 650 , right from comfort to mileage

The CBR 650F is awesome bike in terms of performance and comfort... the only thing lacks is the instrument cluster design and styling of the bike which is given on the brand new CBR650RRest than that, the bike is awesome and stunning.
