Features: The Honda Amaze 2024 gets a host of features, such as LED headlights, an 8-inch touchscreen information system, a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch display, a wireless phone charger, door bottle holder with map pocket (1L), USB Type-C charging ports, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, connected car tech with over 37 functions, rear armrest with cup holder, automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, PM 2.5 in-cabin air filter, rear air-con vents, powered ORVMs, auto headlights, rain sensing wipers, and cruise control. It comes with over 28 active and passive safety features. The Honda Amaze new model is equipped with 6 airbags, brake assist, emergency stop signal, ABS with EBD, electronic stability programme (ESP), a lane watch camera, hill hold control, rearview camera with rear parking sensors. It also comes with segment-first Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features that helps to minimise risk of accidents by actively sensing the surroundings of the car. For instance, the adaptive cruise control maintains a safe distance from the car in the front, while collision mitigation braking system provides audio and visual warning as well as applies brakes to avoid a collision. On the other hand, lane keeping assistance prevents the car from drifting off its lane by alerting the driver and providing steering assistance if necessary.

Engine: The Honda Amaze’s new model has carried forward the same 1,199cc, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine from its predecessor produces 90 PS and 110 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. In fact, the CVT comes with paddle shifters too. In terms of mileage, the 5-speed manual gearbox returns 18.65 kmpl, while the CVT automotive gives out 19.46 kmpl. The sedan measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,733 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,470 mm. The boot space stands at 416 litres. It has a low turning radius of 4.7 metres.

Rivals: The new Honda Amaze competes against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.

Variants: The Amaze is available in 3 variants: V, VX, and ZX across 6 colour options, such as Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, and Obsidian Blue Pearl.

Honda has launched the new generation 2024 Amaze in India. The Honda Amaze price ranges between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (both ex-showroom). The carmaker offers the sedan in 3 variants across 6 colour options. Its design is a departure from the previous Honda Amaze facelift. The carmaker has given the Amaze a new look, including the Elevate-inspired front end and iconic wing-shaped LED rear lights.

Notably, this generation update has brought a range of new features to the Honda Amaze 2024, including the segment-first advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). However, what remains the same is its 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 90 PS and 110 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission.
