I drive a 2004 Zen Petrol LXI, and its drivability surpasses that of an Alto or Wagon R. I get around 12 km/l in the city and 17 km/l on highways. The engine's power is a highlight, allowing confident overtaking. The seating is comfortable, though the low ground clearance is a drawback.

Having driven it around for nearly 2 decades in intra-city and on highway traffic, I am a big fan of the Maruti Zen (2003-LX). Clocked 68,800km so far and , 'Wow, What a car! ; Hats off to the Engineers who designed it and for Maruti Suzuki who built and mass-produced it. Why not Retrofit it as an Indian EV (Electric Vehicle), by Value Engineered modifications for Mass-Retrofitting?'
