TVS seems to be leaving no stone unturned on the next generation Apache as it gears up for its launch at the Auto Expo 2016 which will be held in Greater Noida, Delhi. The latest spied images of the TVS give us an elaborate idea of the design changes and new goodies to look forward for in the new Apache. From the spy images, we can make out the new Apache will have a re-designed fuel tank with the fuel filling lid shifted to the right from the conventional centre position. The bikini headlight fairing seems to be made more compact giving the new Apache a street fighter look. Moving on to the rear, the new Apache will receive a split seat design and re-designed rear section with an LED tail lamp.
Looking at the engine of the test mule, the sheer size definitely confirms to displace 200 or above in terms or cubic capacity. On closer inspection oil lines can be spotted routed from the casing which speculates the power plant to be provided with an oil cooler. The exhaust muffler on the upcoming motorcycle will be restyled.
The new Apache 200 will sport an all-digital display as opposed to a semi-digital console seen on the current Apache RTR series. Switch on the ignition and the display greets the rider with ‘Race On’ welcome text as it perform a full sweep. The all-digital instrumental console provides list of information – speedometer, tachometer, time, current gear position, odometer, and fuel gauge.
The new TVS Apache will receive a new multi-spoke designed wheels. ABS will be most likely an optional extra like the Apache RTR 180. The upcoming TVS motorcycle will be go up against the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS and Hero MotoCorp Karizma R.
