TVS has launched a new range-topping variant of the Jupiter ZX with the SmartXonnect and voice assist feature, similar to what we have seen on the TVS NTorq 125 Race XP. This is the only scooter in the 110cc segment to get these features.
What's The Price? Who Are its Rivals?
The TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect is priced at Rs 80,793 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 2820 more than the Jupiter ZX Disc variant. TVS has introduced the new variant in two colours: Matte Balck and Copper Brown.
What's New?
The highlight of this variant is the new fully digital instrument console that packs features such as navigation, SMS/call alerts, and voice assist. Once paired with the smartphone via the TVS SmartXonnect application, riders can interact with the scooter through voice commands via wired or Bluetooth earphones.
TVS has also introduced a new Silver Oak colour for the inner panels, which is unique to this variant. Furthermore, this variant gets the dual-tone seat and backrest, as seen on the Classic variant.
What's Unchanged?
The TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect variant is powered by the same 110cc single-cylinder engine as the developing 7.8PS at 7500rpm and 8.8Nm at 5500rpm. Even the braking and suspension setup is the same as the ZX Disc variant.
ZigSays
The TVS Jupiter has been one of the most successful scooters in its class. With the addition of a digital console and Bluetooth connectivity, the company has taken things up a notch. However, at Rs 80,793, the scooter has become more expensive than the Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid (Rs 80,530 onwards, ex-showroom Delhi).
