supreme quality

The Royal Enfield continental gt 650 is priced at an expensive price owing to its supreme quality and functions. It has large wheels and good stability. The brakes are good and firm. The only con is that there is absence of floorboard which is not quite convenient to drive very comfortably. The looks are decent and smart. I have the black colour of this bike. It has a good speed and is easy to navigate.

Wonderful Bike

The all-new Continental GT 650 is a remarkable bike with a massive 648cc engine delivering 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. It's an ideal choice for cafe racer enthusiasts, especially considering its price point below 4 lakhs and the extensive Royal Enfield service network across India. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. The bike tends to wobble at higher RPMs, maintenance costs can escalate after 5000kms, and certain servicing aspects, like cleaning the engine valves, may not be adequately addressed by Royal Enfield. Additionally, dealing with punctures, especially with spoke wheels, can be challenging. Despite these issues and the lack of smart features, if the Continental GT 650 is your dream bike and you're willing to manage these drawbacks, it's worth considering.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Pros and Cons

Continental GT 650 Positives Points: Classic retro styling appeals to many, Not-too-aggressive riding posture, Great handling & nice exhaust note

Continental GT 650 Negatives Points: Could have better brakes, Clutch is on slightly heavier side, Customisation options are limited

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Royal Enfield Continental GT650 is the only affordable bike to offer a premium middleweight cafe racer experience. While it stays true to its roots, the GT650 also strikes the right balance between sportiness and everyday usability.

Royal enfield is one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the world, Dating back to 1901 when it was founded in england. The history of the continental gt goes all the way back to 1964; that bike was one of last bikes to be built in royal enfield’s redditch factory, Before it and the bradford on avon factory shuttered the doors for good in 1967 and 1970, Respectively. With licensed motorcycles like the 350cc single-cylinder bullet model already being built in india since 1955, The brand survived and then later thrived after madras motors merged with the eicher group in 1994.When the current generation of the conti gt 650 was released back in 2019, It was a completely new platform with a brand-new and totally modern engine.Introduced alongside the interceptor 650, The gt was designed to fill a void in the us market. One where the terms “inexpensive, ” “simple, ” and “fun” coexist with “cool” and “user-friendly.” “we’re not looking to take market share from anyone, ” re ceo siddhartha lal said, “we are here to grow the market by creating our own category.”the engine and steel double-downtube cradle frame may look old-tech, But the performance of both is anything but.In the case of the engine, There are plenty of modern components throughout. An interesting fact is that re purchased famed british chassis builder harris performance back in 2015, Which means the conti gt delivers in spades when it comes to handling dynamics.Wheels measure 18-inch front and rear while bybre (an abbreviation of “by brembo, ” brembo’s indian subsidiary) brakes handle stopping duty. This bike is all about style, And with a variety of colors and accessories available, Something is sure to grab your fancy.

Plate brakes

4.6

An astonishing bike for drive in the city, Has a generally excellent mileage particularly for the city commute. For a bike for such a minimal expense i need to say its the ideal bike for the price. The stopping mechanism is amazing. It has plate brakes with abs toward the front and circle brakes in the back wheels.I would recommend this bike in the event that you are on a limited spending plan and need more mileage. The just terrible side for this bicycle is its body as it isn't totally put together with metal this might have been finished to decrease the heaviness of the bike.
