I switched to the Tata Tiago EV recently and decided to take it for a meeting with my friends from Bangalore to Mysore. The 26 kWh battery, offering a range of around 200+ km was just enough for the roundtrip with a little bit of caution on the accelerator. The interiors are as comfortable and tech savvy as its petrol sibling, with a pleasant infotainment system and decent cabin space. Driving through the city, the EV was exceptionally quiet and smooth and regenerative braking added a extra touch to the driving experience.

The best part is that it is easy to maintain. I have recently switched from my old model ertiga to tiago evl and i can totally see the difference on which i would suggest others to give it a test drive and see the magic themselves.

She says that its quite easy to maintain and drive that she is also planning to go on a solo trip driving this car herself. The range of distance is enough and charges quick.

After scouting the market for an affordable electric vehicle in India I finally settled on the Tata Tiago EV and have been driving it for several months now. The Tiago EV impresses with its peppy performance thanks to its electric motor that delivers 74 bhp and a respectable torque of 114 Nm. Also the boot space is somewhat limited due to the battery placement which might be a deal breaker for families needing more cargo space. Despite these minor defect for an entry level electric car the Tiago EV offers a commendable package for city dwellers looking to switch to electric.
