Updated: August 2026. The Mercedes-Benz GLB 2024 is an upcoming SUV expected to launch in India at an estimated ₹65 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to get 1.3L petrol engine, a automatic transmission. Once launched, it will rival the BMW X1, Jeep Wrangler and BMW X3.

Mercedes has revealed the updated 2024 seven-seater GLB SUV. It gets minor styling updates, concentrated on its bumpers and its smoked-out headlights, and revised signatures in its LED tailights. The SUV gets additional standard equipment like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and 360-degree camera. It also gets updated powertrain options, and its entire petrol range is now electrified. Powertrains are market-specific, but we reckon the GLA is likely to continue with its existing powertrains in India, and could come to India post its global launch.
