I will suggest you try the following whenever you get a chance. In any parking lot you just try to lean on any suzuki door panels and do the same with any of the Honda's. Thats an indication of how much the car can get damaged during an sideimpact. The basic chasis for all the cars these days are at par with most cars passing Indian regulations, however the likes of Honda's and VW's have to pass E-NCAP which are more stringent tests compared to AIS. Recently couple of Suzuki cars failed E-Ncap tests. Google it if needed. The safety airbags now are standard across all variants for all cars. But are airbags sufficient to save a human from crash. Hell No! Seat structure, seat belts, body roll, ABS, EBD, traction control, drivers visibility.. all these factors count as safety features when you buy the car. Its a sad story that we in general go for mileage and resell value but overlook some of above points. Kindly test drive and understand all points before you make a decision to buy. Short answer WRV would be a better bet.

Saftywise Honda is better compared to Suzuki. wrv Bulid quantity is far better than Suzuki. That's one reason why Suzuki gives more millage. it's weight is less as. Baleno has lesser weight compared to tata indica.
