Hero Lectro has launched the brand new C5x in India. This MTB is positioned at the premium end of the spectrum at Rs 38,999. It’s available in two colours: black and green.
Its new high-power lithium-ion removable battery can be fully charged in 3-4 hours. It’s also dust and waterproof (IP67 and IP65 rated) resistant. The cycle uses a 250W BLDC motor which when paried with the battery, is capable of offering a claimed range of up to 30km using peddle assist and 25km on throttle per charge. It can achieve a claimed top speed of 25kmph.
Other notable features include RFID key locking, and an LED module, which displays the charge status and controls four riding modes.
Its hardware includes a front suspension, a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, front and rear disc brakes, and off-road-centric tyres with a quick-release front wheel.
