It is expensive as compared to SUVs with somewhat similar features like MG Hector/Harrier/Creta . Of course, in strict terms, not comparable. Jeep features , quality of interiors, layout of controls etc are quite good and tastefully done and of course, one pays for the brand too. I find driving a pleasure as one does not feel tired even after a long drive, particularly for a senior citizen like me. I enjoy driving and hence have a manual transmission which i find very easy to handle. I have only once shifted to the 6th gear but then the car gets really quiet. Mileage is very good on highways and it gives me 11.5 km/litre within city , going upto 18-20 kms/litre on highways. Of course my ciry driving is within a city that does not have too many traffic snarls. Now that Jeep is not very old in the country, one really cannot be sure of the maintenance cost after 5 years. Bur since my usage is very low, hopefully it should serve me well. I sometimes feel that the Diesel Limited 2.0L version's headlights could have been better particularly when using dipped headlights. Or maybe I feel so. Maybe others can add to this. I am told that the Diesel Limited 2.0(O) and higher models have better headlamps. But do check it out.
