A Year with My TVS Ronin
After owning the TVS Ronin for over a year, I have my fair share of joys and gripes. The 225.9 cc engine is a powerhouse, delivering 20.4 bhp which makes highway rides exhilarating. Its unique design is a head turner, combining modern and retro elements. The seating is quite comfortable, even for long durations, which is a plus on longer trips. However, the Ronin's weight (159 kg) can be a bit difficult to handle in dense traffic. I also find the mileage a bit disappointing at around 35 kmpl which is a significant factor for daily commuters in India.

A Fresh Breeze of Nostalgia with TVS Ronin
Owning the TVS Ronin feels like a breath of fresh air with a touch of nostalgia. Its unique design mixing classic and modern cues is something that caught my eye.The bike's handling is smooth making city navigation and highway cruising equally enjoyable. On the flip side the Ronin's price felt overpriced compared to other motorcycles in its segment. Also, for the cost the inclusion of a fully digital instrument cluster would have been expected. Another minor down point is its mileage which at around 35 kmpl.

Being 54 years old, I focused on a comfortable bike, The wonderful outcome from tvs, Being totally indian, Having amazing pickup, And having good fuel economy when i purchased this superb motorcycle from om tvs, Faridabad, On february 24, 2023.I fetched nearly 48 kmpl, Very comfortable, No vibration, Very smooth at 80 km, Slipper clutch is just awesome, Usually pick up nicely even below 15kmph at third and fourth gear, No to shift the gear, Lovely sound, Tvs should work for ronin accessories availability at showrooms like lady pillion footrest, Saddle, Rear helmet box, Front mudguard widen mudflap as i find my shoes full of mud and dirt after driving, Rear mud flap, Handle the weight, Etc.While waiting for the initial service, I drove over 800 kilometres.

TVS Ronin Pros and Cons
Ronin Positives Points: Torquey engine ensures you don’t have to shift as frequently, Excellent fit and finish, Lightweight and agile in both city traffic and highway, Can easily accommodate tall riders.
Ronin Negatives Points: Unimpressive highway performance, You’ll need to pull the front brake lever really hard for aggressive braking
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The confusing styling aside, the Ronin is still a peppy and friendly motorcycle that is good for everyday commutes. The engineering finesse and build quality is decent but the styling and top-end engine performance isn’t. The Ronin also comes off as a bit expensive for a bike that is primarily meant to be a city commuter.

I've had this bike I've had
I've had this bike for 6 months, And it's still in excellent condition; the overall appearance is excellent, And the engine power is fantastic. This is the most stunning modern cruiser bike available in this segment.Full of features like dual abs in the top model and bluetooth connectivity. The refinement level of the engine is very good, But after 90 kmph, It vibrates a little bit.If you want to compare this with the hunter 350, This has a better riding posture, Which is very comfortable for long rides. The front break is very good. The rear braking system is standard. This motorcycle gives a mileage of up to 30 kmpl in town and 40 kmpl on the highway. The exhaust note is excellent, The road grip is improved, And this bike has a large turning radius for its handlebars.Which creates a little problem when you try to turn your bike in a small space.Overall bike performance is very good.
