I recently bought the Tata Punch EV and I must say it has been good experience. Last weekend, I decided to take it on a trip from Delhi to Jaipur with my family. The journey was smooth and the 30.2 kWh battery offered a range of about 310 km, which was more than adequate for our trip. The car has a enough powerfull 74 bhp motor that makes city driving easy and handles highway speeds smoothly for a compact SUV.

Affordability and accessibility are two best features of Tata Punch EV. my friend has this model and he uses it for his daily commute. He has confirmed that the quality of rides are too good and the features are accessible too. I was quite lucky to have it for my purpose for a day and the feel was amazing. The charging time is quick and the maintenance is free from hassles and does not cost a lot.

Having owned the Tata Punch EV for a few months now I am quite pleased with its performance and compact design which makes it perfect for city driving. However I have found that during longer drives the ride can feel a bit stiff and road noise becomes noticeable. Additionally the maintenance cost is something to watch as with most EVs though Tata's service network does a decent job. Overall the Tata Punch EV feels like a step in the right direction for sustainable urban commuting in India.
