BMW X1 Latest Updates
BMW has launched the third-generation BMW X1 with a starting price of Rs 45.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The entry-level Bimmer SUV has gotten a few exterior styling, while the cabin has been given a thorough makeover. It continues with both petrol and diesel powertrains, but the former has been downsized and the latter has been detuned.
Features of BMW X1 : The new BMW X1 packs a dual screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen. It also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adaptive LED lights, digital key (where you can lock and unlock using your phone), automatic tailgate, massaging seats for front occupants and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Features like dual zone climate control, ambient lighting, powered front seats and a panoramic sunroof have been retained. Its safety kit is made up of multiple airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking, and a rear-view camera.
BMW X1 Engine : The BMW X1 gets two powertrain options: 1.5-litre petrol and 2-litre diesel units. The former has an output of 138PS and 230Nm, while the diesel produces 152PS and 360Nm. Both powertrains are geared using a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The petrol offers a fuel efficiency of over 16kmpl, while the diesel is said to return over 20kmpl.
BMW X1 Rivals : It will fend off competition from the likes of the Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40.
