Triumph Thruxton 400 Latest Updates
Rajiv Bajaj has confirmed that a new Triumph motorcycle will be launched in 2024 and we think it could be the upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400. Check out the details here.
The test mule looks like an authentic cafe racer with the fairing around the headlight (which is the same as the Triumph Speed 400), the bar-end mirrors, the clip-on handlebars and the rearset footpegs. The bike also gets a metal bash plate. The 398cc liquid-cooled engine, making 40PS and 37.5Nm, will likely be in the same tune as the Speed 400 as well.
These things said, the test mule is still likely a prototype and the bike will not be launched within the next year. It could be unveiled at EICMA next year (November 2024), followed by an India launch. As for its price, it could cost around Rs 30,000 more than the Speed 400. Its closest rival will then be the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250
