Porsche Cayenne

Porsche has updated its Cayenne GTS SUV and now gets an overhauled look both inside and out. It gets a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 507 PS and 659 Nm. Along with overall exterior design tweaks, the refreshed interiors feature in line with the current generation Porsche’s. If launched in India, it is anticipated to be launched at a price tag of over Rs 2.5 crore.

Features of Porsche Cayenne : The SUV gets a brand-new dashboard with three screens, a 12.6-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch main infotainment screen and a 10.9-inch co-driver screen. It has a 911-derived sports steering wheel with audio, cruise control, engine start and driving mode controls. The gear selector has been moved from the centre console to the dashboard next to the 12.3-inch touchscreen. Other features include a cooled storage compartment for smartphones which also has wireless charging at up to 15W, front and rear USB-C ports, Porsche Communication Management connected car tech (pairs your phone via a QR code) and an optional heads-up display (HUD).

Porsche Cayenne Engine : The new Cayenne gets an updated 3-litre V6 petrol engine as standard making 348PS, around 13PS more than before. The E-Hybrid variant has the same engine, but it’s paired with a plug-in hybrid system and makes 470PS.

Porsche Cayenne Rivals : The Porsche Cayenne rivals the Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8 and Mercedes GLE.

Porsche Cayenne Variants : The new Cayenne SUV and Cayenne Coupe are offered in standard and E-Hybrid variants.
