A price war has been activated in the 110cc scooter segment with Honda launching the cheapest version of its bestselling Activa scooter
With a target of becoming the country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer by 2015, Honda instated its third manufacturing facility at Narsapura Area on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The new plant has a capacity of producing 12 million units which would be further boosted to 18 million units soon
With the price of fuel going skywards, Honda has updated its best selling scooter, Activa with a HET-technology. With this addition, it claims that the efficiency of the Activa has gone up. ZigWheels finds out how much of a difference has it really made

I have purchased the vehicle in the name of my wife Smt. B.V. Mahadevamma from Plant Honda, Bangalore and using it since delivery. The shocke absorver are not so comfortable and they are so hard. I am getting back pain. I am finding this difference as I am already possessing TVS street, which is very comfortable and shock observer are working like any thing. I purchased Honda Activa on the advise of my sister who is using it. On equiry she is also feeling the same. I request you to kindly do the needful and request to take necessary action to rectify. A line in reply is highly appreciated

honda activa is hopeless bike it doesnot give milage and no balance at all.we can afford to buy a flight ticket every month from chennai to delhi round trip with the expenses of activa.sunil puttaswamy ayerchennai\

Frequently i have self start problem with Activa. This is happening due to some problem with a black circuit box (mechanic called it "cd") with battery above front wheel. Due to this authorised activa mechanic changed start key and some wire conections. but a street mechanic showed me this reason. Is it an isolated case or with other vehicles also same problem? Company has any suggestion for this??? .

Frequently i have problem of self start with activa. It found that some circuite problem in the box (my mechanic called the box as "cd") adjusent to battery above the front wheel. If hit the cd box 2, 3 times it get self started . My activa authorised mechanic could not find this problem,so he tried change of start key, rewiring of some electric conections etc, but a street mechanic guided me and showed me how to recover this problem. I like to know whether it is an isolated problem or common with other vehicles . Honda company has any suggestion for this.
