Taking the Toyota Glanza on a weekend trip from Mumbai to Lonavala was a delightful experience. The 1.2L Dual VVT engine provided a quick but smooth drive, giving impressive mileage of about 20 kmpl. For city driving and occasional trips, the Glanza is a practical, fuel efficient hatchback. It is perfect for those who prioritize space and tech features within a compact design. However, the build quality felt less compared to models like the Hyundai i20.

Living with the Toyota Glanza
The Toyota Glanza has been my companion for over six months now and it is mostly been a pleasant journey. The Glanza with its 1.2L petrol engine, is quite powerful and efficient, managing to deliver around 21 kmpl on highways, which slightly dips in city traffic but remains commendable. The cabin is surprisingly roomy and the boot space easily handles the weekend grocery run or luggage for short trips. On highways, the noise seeps through more than I would like and the plastic quality in some interior parts could have been better, otherwise premium feel.

Toyota Glanza Pros and Cons
Glanza Positives Points: Large cabin is feature rich. The petrol engines are powerful and efficient. Comes with a comprehensive 3-year/1 lakh km standard warranty which is backed by Toyota’s peace of mind after sales and service.
Glanza Negatives Points: AMT is not as refined as the outgoing CVT automatic, boot loading isn’t practical because of the high lip.
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Toyota Glanza offers great value-for-money to families looking for a practical, well-equipped, efficient city car.

Oil burner
Picked up a glaza automatic for my wife few years back, Being a oil burner fan wasn’t so keen to take it to the highway because of mileage and handling and for all these years have been happily driving my etios diesel, Had to visit my village last week and for a change tried glanza, Was surprised by its highway manners, Night drive was so good with wonderful headlights especially when it was raining heavily, Have become a fan of glanza now.Service cost and maintenance is so less and we are enjoying it.City conditions - 12-13 kmpl highway - 20+kmpl if you cruise 100-110 16 kmpl- 130 plus.

My Toyota Glanza is a subcompact hatchback that is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It offers a good balance of practicality, fuel efficiency, and features at an attractive price point. The claimed mileage is 22.35 kmpl . The Glanza offers comfortable seating for five passengers in a modern and functional cabin.
The advantage is that maintenance costs for Toyota vehicles are generally lower compared to some other car. It generally requires high maintaineance as compared to othet cars ."
