The Hilux is Toyota’s lifestyle pickup truck offering in India. It shares its platform and engine with the Fortuner and is available in two broad trims with a choice of five colour shades. Prices for the Hilux start from Rs 30.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features of Toyota Hilux : The Hilux comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, a powered driver’s seat, cruise control, and push-button start. Safety is taken care of with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, hill descent control, and electronic stability control.
Toyota Hilux Engine : It is powered by the same 204 PS/500 Nm 2.8-litre diesel engine from the Fortuner. The engine is paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The pickup truck comes with four-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox as standard. It measures 5300 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, 1800 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3000 mm.

Towing capacity and payload are impressive makes it a practical choice for both work and play.Fuel efficiency is decent for a vehicle of its size comes around 12 to 14 kmpl, depending on your driving style and conditions.

The Toyota Hilux is a car of great value and great space, perfect for larger groups and families. I have already gone for trips with family in my car and it has been very mesmerising and comfortable. We had a lot of fun. The price is affordable, the features are amazing and its transmission is manual. Exterior and interior are very beautiful and passenger friendly.
