The Honda Activa is a family of scooters manufactured by Honda 2 wheelers in India. Honda offers a series of 3 new Activa models in India. Honda Activa price starts at Rs. 78,174 for the cheapest model Activa 6G with a 109 cc engine claiming mileage of 50 kmpl. The most expensive model Activa 125 is priced at Rs. 82,634 with a 124 cc engine claiming mileage of 60 kmpl. The popular Activa includes Activa 6G (Rs. 78,174) and Activa 125 (Rs. 82,634)

The Honda Activa range comprises of the Activa 6G and the Activa 125 BS6. These are the only two scooters from the Activa family in the BS6 era. Prices for the Activa 6G begin from Rs 64,464, which is around Rs 8,500 more than the old Activa 5G. The Activa 125 BS6, on the other hand, carries a price premium of roughly Rs 7,000, prices now starting from Rs 68,042.

One of the standout features is the silent start system, which makes city rides pleasantly quieter.While riding, I appreciated its smooth handling and the decent mileage it offers averaging about 50 to 55 km/l. The digital analog meter and the side stand engine cut off feature are practical touches that enhance daily usage convenience. However, the scooter is on the heavier side with a weight of about 111 kg, which can make maneuvering through tight spots a bit tough.

    I have been using the Honda Activa 6G for about a year and it is proven to be a dependable urban companion. The latest model comes with a 109.51cc engine, capable of a modest 7.68 bhp of power. It is not the most powerful but for city rides, it is sufficient. The fuel efficiency is commendable at around 50 to 55 km/l which is great for daily commutes.The enhanced smart power (eSP) technology and the engine start stop switch are thoughtful additions for fuel saving. However, I found the under seat storage slightly limiting if one needs to stow more than just basic items.
