Yamaha India has launched the 2024 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX variant with two new colours: Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green at the same price as the existing colours.
The Yamaha FZS-FI V4 is the fourth-generation version of the FZ, a premium 150cc commuter motorcycle range from Yamaha. Apart from the design and feature updates over the previous third-generation FZS-FI V3 (which is still on sale alongside it), the new Yamaha FZS-FI V4 retains the engine and the rest of the mechanical setup from the former.
Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Price : The Yamaha FZS-FI V4 comes in two variants – standard and deluxe. The standard variant is available at Rs 1,29,200, and has two colour options including Matte Black and Dark Matte Blue, both with black alloy wheels and contrast pinstriping. The Yamaha FZS-FI V4 DLX variant is available in six colours including Racing Blue, Metallic Grey, Majesty Red and Matte Black along with the newly launched Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green shades. All the colours are priced at Rs 1,29,700 (ex-showroom Delhi) and have contrast-coloured alloy wheels.
Features of Yamaha FZS-FI V4 : Yamaha made crucial tweaks and added some features in the FZS-FI V4, including a revised fascia with a new LED headlamp and daytime running LEDs to its sides. The motorcycle also has an all-LED tail lamp, turn indicators, and a full-LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. This display unit has a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meters, fuel gauge, gear indicator and real-time mileage indicator. The riding aids offered as standard in the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 include a single-channel ABS and traction control (overkill for a 150cc bike, if you ask us).
Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Engine : Both variants of the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 are powered by the same tried-and-tested single-cylinder, air-cooled, 149cc engine, which has been retained from the FZS-FI V3. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission and claims a power of 12.4PS at 7250 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.3Nm at 5500 rpm.
Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Suspension, Brakes & Other Details : Apart from the engine, the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 also shares the chassis and the rest of the mechanical components with the previous-generation Yamaha FZS-FI V3. The new motorcycle has a telescopic fork, and a 7-step preload adjustable monoshock. The Yamaha FZS-FI V4 has 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, which come wrapped with a 100-section tyre at the front and a 140-section radial tyre at the rear. This premium commuter motorcycle from Yamaha has a 282mm disc brake at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, with single-channel ABS. The Yamaha FZS-FI V4 continues to come with a 13-litre fuel tank. While the seat height of the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 is 790mm, the ground clearance of the motorcycle is 165mm. The 150cc Yamaha bike weighs 136kg kerb.

0Good mileage and features
The braking performance is decent enough and is a good fuel efficient bike but at high speed the engine does not feel comfortable and refined. The finishing of this bike look stunning and the features in this bike is very decent and it comes with the single channel ABS and traction control system. I got 55 to 60 kmpl of mileage which is very good and Yamaha FZS-FI V4 is a good choice in good pricing and at city speed the performance is great also the seat height is very good.

It has comfortable seats and aesthetic exterior looks. Exterior wise it is tough, classy and a head turner on roads. The price ranges from affordable numbers. But it's a worthy investment. I would highly recommend this to all.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a new adventure bike . I loves it as it will with me on my all rides i am waiting for its launch. The expected feaatures are tall windscreen, knuckle guards, a comfortable seat, and a luggage rack to be present. Talking about its features it is a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog speedometer and an LCD screen for displaying trip information, fuel gauge, and other essential details. However i think that its fuel efficiency will be low .

Having been riding the Yamaha FZS-FI V4 for the past year, this bike has brought about certain improvements and a couple of familiar setbacks. With its new 149cc BS6 engine, the performance is reliable, offering a power of 12 PS suitable for city commutes and occasional spirited riding.The design updates in the V4 are definitely a highlight, with a more aerodynamic shape and contemporary graphics.Despite these positives, I still find the bike’s gearbox a bit clunky, especially during downshifts.And while the upgrades are visually pleasing, they come with a slight increase in the price which might not justify the enhancements for everyone.
