The luxury car segment is always on the rise as cars become more affordable. The three German giants were all represented this year although with very different categories being showcased. The Audi A3, BMW 3 Series GT and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class were the three finalists shortlisted for this category this year. The BMW 3 Series GT with its comfortable ride and large interior dimensions made for an interesting car considering it makes a niche bby itself by positioning itself in between conventional entry level luxury sedans like the Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and mid range luxury cars like the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The entry level sedan from Audi, the new A3 is also a strong contender for the luxury car crown this year going up against entry level luxury offerings like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, the BMW 1 Series and even the new Mini Cooper. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, with its new styling and incredible interiors too makes a strong point for itself. Having won several global awards, the new S-Class, available with both diesel and petrol engines goes up against a whole range of cars from the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8 to SUVs like the Range Rover. Picking a winner here too will be quite difficult especially since all three cars bring a very strong case for themselves to the table.
