Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63

Mercedes has launched its most powerful S-Class, the S63 AMG E-Performance, at Rs 3.3 crore (ex-showroom). It gets the brutal performance and styling tweaks in line with the AMG models. Apart from that, Mercedes is also offering the S63 in a limited ‘Edition 1’ trim, priced at Rs 3.8 crore (ex-showroom). The Edition 1 gets bespoke styling updates over the standard model, along with blacked-out styling bits for more ‘stealth’. 

Features of Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63 : The Mercedes AMG S63 E Performance features a 12.8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four-zone climate control, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and powered seats for all four occupants. Rear seat occupants are also treated with executive lounge seats and a rear seat entertainment package. On the safety front, it comes with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera and even Level 2 ADAS features like blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist.

Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63 Engine : The Mercedes AMG S63 E Performance is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid setup producing a combined output of a whopping 802 PS and 1430 Nm. It can sprint from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels. The S63 offers seven driving modes, including an all-electric mode that provides a range of up to 33 km with a top speed of 125 kmph.

Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63 Rivals : The Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance rivals other performance-oriented cars like the AMG GT63 S E-Performance and Porsche Panamera Turbo S. It is also a sportier alternative to the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8L.
