A Year with My Hero Super Splendor: Hits and Misse

It's been over a year with the Hero Super Splendor and it is performed admirably as my daily commuter. What I really appreciate is its robust 124.7cc engine that offers a decent balance between power and fuel efficiency, averaging around 60 kmpl. The 5 speed gearbox’s operation is smooth which makes city rides enjoyable.On the downside, I found the build quality to be lacking in certain areas. The bike's plastic parts feel cheap and I have noticed some premature rusting on the chrome bits, which is disappointing.

The new fuel-injected motor isn’t very grunty, but is claimed to be more fuel-efficient. The 5-speed gearbox, however, should help the engine breathe easy on highways and the fact that it is an all-new motorcycle, Hero has still managed to keep the pricing in check. You can pick the Super Splendor, if you are looking for an affordable, utilitarian 125cc motorcycle.
