Skoda introduces new 'Zeal Edition' variants across portfolio

Skoda is offering a new variant across its Indian model line-up. It is called the Zeal Edition and will offer a unique interior and features package to what is already available at showrooms. The Octavia, Yeti and Superb get black alcantara and leather seats, a black dashboard and black door trims. The Rapid Zeal Edition gets leatherette and Alcantara seats, a Garmin navigation device with rear view camera, rear Parktronics, observation mirror and floor textile mats. 

Skoda has added this new variant from the beginning of this week and the company informs us that it will be available for a limited period only. The Rapid with its new features is a much better proposition than before as in its segment, the Rapid falls woefully short of equipment. The Zeal edition with its added feature list can stand up to the likes of the City and Ciaz.

For the other cars in Skoda’s line-up, the all black interior adds to the sportier feel and promises to attract a younger set of buyers. The current generation Superb has another year to go till it is phased out and this Zeal Edition variant will help it keep chugging till the end of its shelf life. The Octavia is a strong seller in its segment and the added variant will only add to its value.
