The limited edition onslaught from car makers continues and the latest is the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Knightracer. Maruti claims that it has packed the Alto K10 LXi with 11 new features. What it has also done is slap the Knightracer name on the car and a premium of Rs. 13,490 on the Alto K10 LXi’s list price.

The limited edition Alto K10 Knightracer sports exterior and interior changes that include Knightracer body graphics, an ORVM on the left side, body side moulding, and full wheel covers on the outside. The interior has been kitted with Knightracer fabric seat covers, a rear parcel tray, a steering wheel cover and a JVC stereo with MP3 compatibility and USB connectivity.

Elaborating on the Alto K10 Knightracer, Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, since the day of its launch, found immense appreciation amongst the performance-driven and value-conscious young buyers who always strive to do more in less time .The Alto K10 Knightracer is a special limited edition that adds to the Alto K10’s appeal with an enhanced style quotient. We are confident that this special edition will bring pride to the select owners.”

The Alto K10 was introduced as the higher performance model of the company’s best selling vehicle, the 800cc Alto. With its 1.0-litre K-Series engine that develops 68PS of power combined with its nimble handling, the Alto K10 packs in quite the punch for young customers who enjoy driving.

As for the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Knight Racer, while the sticker job sets it apart from regular K10s on the road, it’s the JVC stereo that accounts for most of the Rs. 13,490 premium.
